Radisson Blu Hotel Dortmund is a premium business and sports hotel, suited for corporate travelers and athletic teams. Located near Signal Iduna Park and Westfalenpark, it offers diverse facilities, including meeting spaces, rooms, and a wellness area with a pool and sauna. The hotel reflects Dortmund’s industrial heritage, combining nostalgic elements from its mining past with contemporary, stylish design.

The Challenge

The challenge was that the hotel’s content presence did not fully reflect its brand character. The Instagram and Facebook pages lacked alignment with its unique atmosphere, LinkedIn had little activity, and OTA and Google profiles were not optimized for visibility and consistency.

Our Approach

Our approach focused on organizing content shoots, reviewing content collection, and centralizing it. We took over the hotel’s social media, creating and distributing content aligned with the hotel’s character and goals. Copy was adapted to German for the local market. Content was divided into themes like MICE, bleisure, food, destination and culture, sport, testimonials, recommendations, and employer branding, all tailored to each platform.

The Result

The result is a fresh new look and feel for the social media channels, fully aligned with brand guidelines. The Google page was updated, with posts written about key updates. Photos were consistently scheduled, and we also incorporated video content. This led to significant organic growth across all channels in terms of reach, followers, and impressions. The collaboration started in October and is still ongoing, with a strong and positive relationship with in-house teams and management.
